TV Reception Program

As part of our commitment to local communities, Biala Wind Farm has introduced a TV Reception Program, aimed at improving TV reception for nearby residents. The program is available to residents regardless of whether or not their reception has been affected by the Biala Wind Farm.

Program eligibility

Residents inside the geographic area shown on the Eligibility Area map are eligible. Tenants and house owners can apply, but if you are a tenant, we require written permission from the house owner.

What’s included

If you are eligible and apply to the program:

• We will arrange and pay for a local TV technician to assess reception at your house.
• If your reception can be improved by fitting a new, standard sized aerial to your rooftop, we will supply and install this for you free of charge.
• If your reception cannot be improved using a new aerial, we will arrange to supply and fit a maximum of two VAST boxes to your house free of charge.

How to apply

The first step is to fill out an application form. Alternatively, you can contact us and we will post you a form. After we have confirmed your eligibility, our TV technician will contact you to arrange an appointment, which will normally be between 9am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays.

TV Reception Program applications will close on 30 June 2024.
